Patrick O’Dowd

Patrick joined Taylor McCarney Architects in 2009 and has since worked on various projects in Taylor McCarney Architects particularly in the health and education sector. He has specialist experience on working on live sites dealing with the phasing and coordination of projects and has worked on various high profile third level educational projects throughout Ireland.
Patrick has a keen interest in our built heritage and has worked on several projects involving protected structures, refurbishing them to meet current statutory requirements while preserving their original fabric in a sensitive way.
He has gained experience and knowledge of various health protocols such as HTMs, HBN’s, SARI etc working on numerous health projects and his experience also extends to recreational, industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Currently he is also involved in teaching architecture to second level students through the National Architects in Schools Initiative.
