Taylor McCarney Architects are committed to sustainable architectural principles and consider it from the initial sketch right through to handover. It’s this dedication to sustainability that enabled us to become the first architectural practice to achieve CO2 neutral status.

Sustainability isn’t an add-on or afterthought and needs to be incorporated into all area of the design process such as natural daylight and ventilation, passive solar design, materials, energy analysis and lifecycle costs, renewable energies and controlling natural resources. This dedication and commitment to sustainable design recently won us the Royal Institute of Technology Sustainable Award for the National University of Ireland Galway Engineering Building.
